Snow Shovelers needed November 15th- March 31st.
$30 for shovelers hour ON-CALL basis (When it snows night or day)
Job Summary:
You will be assigned to a team responsible for winter property maintenance for several commercial properties in the east GTA. Should a winter weather event occur, you will help your team with de-icing and shovelling.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Be “On Call” or available 24hrs per day-7days per week to report to work should any winter weather occurrence
Monitor your cellphone to ensure receipt of any SMS messages from your manager at any time of day.
When a winter weather occurrence arises and you are called in to work, you are expected to be reporting to your team leader at the office within 60 minutes of the call.
Required:
Reliable and able to be on call 24/7
Physically fit to shovel snow by hand for extended periods of time
Drivers license an asset
Work Conditions:
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly through an entire work shift
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Requires good manual dexterity
Excellent stamina is required
Work near heavy equipment and other vehicles on a regular basis
Work outdoors in various conditions cold, wind and snow
On call- 24/7
